Siblings

I think the most interesting relationship is that of siblings. I took the kids to the park today so they spent quite a bit of time side by side in the stroller. On the first part of the way back, Bryant was tormenting Briley. Doing anything and everything to get her all upset. The second half a strong breeze picked up and was making her cry. Bryant gently put his arm around her and place her head on his shoulder. With his other hand he held up her burp rag to block the wind from her face. It was definitely one of those aww moments. She calmed down immediately and they snuggled the rest of the ride.
Siblings are funny. We do anything to torture and torment our brothers and sisters, but at the same time we would do anything to protect them. It is perfectly alright to slam them to our friends, but if any of our friends were to say anything bad about them, we come to their defence in a hurry. Brotherly and sisterly love is indeed strange, but what would we do without it.

I love that story!!! I am so proud of Bryant doing that...you will have more so keep track of
them when things are rough you can read the "good things" that DO happen!

That reminds me of the time that Paul and I attended Cox Bar Elementary School together. One day, on the bus ride home, Paul vomited on the pudgy kid sitting next to him. The bus driver stopped and I stepped up and cleaned up all the vomit. A few days before, I was sent to the principle's office for fighting with Paul during recess.
