Last night, Barry University participated in a Relay for Life. It was to help find a cure for cancer. It was pretty cool. There were a bunch of booths, a dinner, and some entertainment. Paul was on the Barry Pod team. The rule was that one person from your team needed to be walking around the track. The rest of the team would be playing and having fun. I had a good time talking with the even girls and passing my baby around. What I was really doing was making everyone baby hungry. Paul and Bryant played a lot of football and Bryant even ran around the track 3 times. He put in his time.
Then today in support of our friend Kim who lost her mom to ALS a few years back, our family decided to walk with her in the Aventura walk to defeat ALS. It was actually a really good time. We got to chat with our friends while doing a little charity. Paul felt a little put out at the end though. There was a raffle and they were giving a Wii away to the winner. They told us that we could buy our tickets at the end so we waited. Paul even ran down the street to Publix to get cash for the tickets. When we got done with the walk, they had already done all the drawings with those that were already back. Oh well! It was still a really fun morning.
