Carving Pumpkins 2009

Briley loved carving pumpkins. More than watching Paul and I carve, she just wanted to run around with the guts. Bryant however, would still only watch from a far. He didn't want to get his hands dirty. He did want to "Poke them". It was a pretty fun morning. Paul made a happy face pumpkin and I did a cat, sort of. It didn't turn out the way I wanted it, but it was the fault of the pumpkin, not my skills.

What? A cold day in Oct.??

On Monday this week it got down to 75. In the early morning it was in the 50's. Here, that is freezing. We had our sweatshirts on and everything. It wasn't that it was 75 outside, it was the added humidity and freezing winds that made it so cold. You would have to be here, so all those who are laughing can stop now. Here's some pictures of the kids playing on the balcony.

Toddler Thursdays

Every Thursday the play group has been going to a friends house to play at a park and have a story. Bryant gets so excited to go play with "his kids". Today was the first time I have gone in a long time so I took my camera. They had a good time. They have a carousel and a merry go round that all of the kids crowded onto. Briley actually preferred just running around on the playground equipment. It was so funny, I would think I was watching her and be talking to someone, and in a matter of seconds she would zip by and be getting into trouble. She's so little that she just disappears. Bryant played pretty well with everyone and didn't want to leave. On a totally different note, Bryant had his first completely dry day yesterday. He hasn't been as successful today, but at least we know he can do it.

Mommies little cross dresser

Not really. He just has enjoyed putting on my heels lately. He cracks me up. We love you little Bryant.

Super Cheese

The pictures speak for themselves.

I think they have forgotten how to just smile normally. They always have their eyes either closed or wide open with a super cheese smile on.

Below Knee Dr's

It is now time for some Flag football again. This year the third years stole pod posy so they came up with below knee Dr's instead. This year I have not one kid running around, but 2. Makes for an interesting game for me, but since Briley stays close to me and Bryant minds better, I do get to watch Paul kick butt more. This year Paul has a nice new pair of gloves that aid in him catching the ball, guaranteed, every time. They have a great team going this year. Hope they continue their winning streak. I think they have lost 1 of 4 games.

Finally a Loser

So I had been working out a lot for about a month and was losing no weight. Finally at the end of last week I stepped on the scale to discover 4 lbs gone. Then yesterday I stepped on again to see another one down. Yes.......5lbs baby. It hurts and is most of the time not fun at all, but I am finally seeing it. Just for fun I told Paul to step up on the scale (He looks like he has lost weight) and sure enough, he has lost 9. I'm a proud Wifey. So happy to have 5 down I thought I'd share. Looking forward to trying to get the last 10lbs off. NOT!!
