Our Halloween started out on a Thursday morning. Briley had a little party with some friends while Bryant was at school. This first picture I put on here because I'm pretty sure my mom has a picture of me at this age in a similar costume and pose. It was really humid that morning so the camera lens kept fogging up.
Bryant had a school party on Friday, where I got to leave him from 8:30 am till 3 pm. Felt like a long time, but they brought in a petting zoo and some bouncy houses. He had a blast. He went as Iron Man and I didn't get any pictures. What was I thinking?
When Paul and I were trying to think of what to be, out of our old costumes box, Briley wanted to try on a few herself. This is her as Elvis.
And her as a cowgirl! Giant hat for a tiny girl!!
When it came time to carve pumpkins, her mood changed. She didn't want to get dirty and threw a fit. She then would only watch from inside the house.

How cute!!!
I ended up wearing part of Paul's cow print suit and the giant hat. He ended up being a Scottish Basketball player. Wore his kilt and socks and then just his basketball get up. Finally here is my Bryant as Iron Man. He loved it!
I was in charge of the trunk-or-treat again this year. We had our second annual chili cook-off and a bunch of fun games inside, and then the trunks for trick-or-treating outside. Paul stayed and passed out candy while I walked the kids around. Had some creative trunks this year. We had a prize winner (below) and Bryant insisted on sitting in ours and helping with his vampire teeth in. Thought it would be scarier.
