This weekend we had theopportunity to go to the zoo for free. The zoo out here is really great. It was free museum day Sat. All over the US, most museum and zoos were free. Anyway, we met up with a bunch of our friends and spent a few ours looking at the animals. As you can see below we even got a lesson on how giant turtles are made.
When we got home, Paul was done studying and was in the mood to play with the kids. It was beat up daddy time, but I think Paul ended up winning.
Then Sunday I did Briley's hair up nice for thew first time. Paul says we got all 6 of her hairs in a pony tail on top of her head. Pretty much right. What a couple of good looking kids we have.
Then today, the kids were extremely bored since it is raining out. I decided the best thing would be to drag out Bryant's little tent and have a reading day. They both love books and as luck would serve it, tents too. They had some fun with that for a while. All parents know, nothing lasts for very long.
As you can see, her cute hair from yesterday is not so cute today.

That sounds like such a fun weekend! I love Briley's hair! I used to put Brooklyn's in pig tails and the next day when she woke up they were still there. I had taken the elastics out the night before! I love little girl's hair! And I have to agree, you guys do have some pretty cute kids! :)
I love the pic with Bryant in his underwear reading! So funny! Where are you guys living these days? Looks like all is well, miss you and all the Florida gang!
You are like the 4th person that knew about the free zoo day! I wish I would have known. So cool you got out!
