Christmas Vacation

Well our Christmas vacation was made up of 2 parts. Part one: We went to Seattle for 10 days. All of which it snowed. For those who don't know, it is very uncommon to have snow more than 1day in Seattle. Our little town of Marysville got dumped on again and again. In fact we were completely snowed in everyday, but two. We got to go to the mall once and to the store another time. Since we were in the house the whole time, we ended up playing hours and hours of killer bunny. Great game! We celebrated our 4 year anniversary on the 22nd. It wasn't much, but we had some cookie salad with the family. That stuff is delicious. Thanks for the Recipe Mike and Brittany.

We got to meet my baby brother Kevin's girlfriend. She seems like a good pick.

Bryant didn't care if Santa came, as long as he got to wear his hat.

We had a pretty great Christmas eve. It is my families tradition to open all of our presents on Christmas eve so Bryant was in heaven opening gifts and Briley was in heaven playing with his discarded paper and bows.

Part 2: We Then ventured off to California to our family there. We had perfect weather thank goodness. We started out our time by catching up with some old friends. All of the guys Paul grew up with, I was fortunate enough to get to know in college so I love them all. I was able to get to know his buddy Mikes wife Justine better. I think we'll be pretty good friends someday when we've had more time to hang out. We were also finally able to celebrate our anniversary. Paul and I left the kids with mom and dad and went and got massages. It was fantastic though the girl that did Paul's seemed to have a fetish with his butt. Spent a long time there. Weird! Then we got lots of time to be with family. We spent a lot of it playing guys against girls hand and foot. Girls came out on top. ha ha Bob and Paul! Unfortunately we didn't take a camera so there are no pictures of California. Next time I'll be a little smarter than that.
Overall it was a good time out for me and gave Paul a chance to play with Bryant and get to know his daughter better.
