Who got Stitches???

Surprise...it was not my crazy Bryant. Briley was walking, yes walking, through my moms kitchen and fell on the hard wood floor. She started crying hard, but I didn't see anywhere she had hurt herself and there wasn't anything she fell on. I walked her over to the bathroom to get her a tissue cause she was crying pretty hard for such a small fall. As a wiped her nose she lifted her head and all this blood came pouring out from under her chin. I pulled her head back to wipe it and it opened this inch long deep slice. We jumped in the car and headed for the ER. They decided to just glue it instead of stitches. They said it would reduce the appearance of a scar later on. They also said it was most likely her chin bone that did the slicing. Nasty deep cut.

We hurried so fast out the door that I forgot my purse with the insurance info. My mom then called my dad to have him bring it to us while they fixed up the baby. He didn't come and didn't come so my mom called him back. Turns out Bryant had a screaming fit and was kicking and yelling at my dad, " let go of that purse. That's my mommy's purse. You can't have it." He would not let it go. My brother had to come grab him and they had to pry it out of his death grip. That's my boy. Always protecting his momma.

Anyway it has been 4 days now and her cut looks really good. The strips have fallen off and everything looks sealed and clean. It's not even red. Who would have thought that out of my 2 kids it would be Briley with the first major cut.
