With Briley so adventurous now I thought i should take this opportunity to tell you a few Briley beach stories. A week ago I went to the beach with some friends. When I turned around to help Bryant with something, she stuck something in her mouth. When I turned back to get it out, it was......a cigarette. NASTY! My baby will put anything and everything she finds in her little mouth. YUCK!!!!!! Anyway, this week we went with our friends the Averetts. They have a son 1 month older than Briley. This is what they did the whole time.
Yup, they ate as much sand as they could get a hold of. Little sand monsters.
Every so often, we went in the water to cool off. It had to be close to 90 if not hotter that day. Baby Koa is quite the little surfer dude.
Bryant is not so excited about the water. Especially since we kept seeing these giant fish with some pretty big fins. Probably not sharks, but who really knows. Scary! Bryant usually just kicks back in his chair and throws sand around. He has a great time till we drag him kicking and screaming into the water.
Most of all, this week has taught me that going to the beach is so much better when Paul is with us. It has been so great to spend time with him. Briley has finally gotten to know her dad and squeals whenever she sees him. Only 6 more years of no husband to go.
